SMS control in China

Australia’s The Age reports on China’s screening of SMS messages. The article states that
“Any phone sending out more than 100 text messages an hour will be pinpointed by screening software and the contents read by officials within 15 minutes.”
This action was spurred on by the group Falun Gong’s usage of SMS to communicate with its members.
