China Elections and Governance has published a summary of the Chinese language press coverage of the case against corruption fighter Huang Jingao:
All of these accusations were attributed to “unnamed sources”, “high level officials” or, simply preceded with the phrase “it is said⋯.” In fact, even his shuang gui was only “said” and not officially acknowledged. Huang Jin’gao and his supporters had no means to defend themselves, and the mainland Internet continues to be cleaned of most references to Huang beyond the Ta Kung Pao article and related pieces.
