India, China make gains on border, trade

From Reuters:

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and his Indian counterpart, Manmohan Singh, agreed on a roadmap to settle a decades-old border dispute on Monday, as the nuclear rivals build a new “bridge of friendship”.

Announcing a cooperative and strategic partnership for peace and prosperity, the pair signed several agreements from the border issue, to more passenger flights, expanded military cooperation and efforts to boost trade between the world’s two most populous nations.
