China ‘morally obliged’ to help end trade crisis – George Parker

Peter Mandelson, EU trade commissioner, on Monday claimed China had a “moral and political obligation” to help solve the trade crisis which has left millions of Chinese garments piling up at Europe’s ports.

He was speaking after the collapse of talks in Beijing aimed at resolving the dispute, which has infuriated retailers and left them unable to receive the goods they ordered.
