Out of fashion? Even if China does resolve its textile imports disputes with the U.S. and EU, the made-in-China label may be as dated as shoulder pads.

According to a media report, U.K. retailers are shifting production from China to Eastern Europe, Turkey and India to keep pace with customer demand for the latest threads. The report suggests the sourcing shift was catalyzed by the EU-China textile tiff, but was galvanized by the need for stores such as Primark, Zara and New Look to rush out the latest trends.
