Parents of ‘Net addicts’ plan lawsuit – Elaine Wu

Parents of internet addicts are turning to the courts to make the industry pay for allegedly destroying — or even taking — the lives of their children.

Zhang Chunliang, head of the China Economic Herald’s Centre for Prevention of Internet Addiction, said he had been instructed by the parents of 63 online game addicts to initiate a group action lawsuit against the industry, Xinhuanet reported.
