When I examined closely, there were two groups: it seemed that those studying anything related to politics – international relations, etc – discussed 6-4 rather openly; those who didn’t, didn’t. I guess, and would be interested in confirmation, that the idea is that if you have to represent China in any way, then you are going to be asked about 6-4 and need to know what to say.

So, as I have asked before, who precisely are the Chinese people? There are an awful lot of them, and have many different views on most issues, and many different experiences. [Full text]
