Chinese President Hu Jintao, who left for Germany on Wednesday to attend the outreach session of the G-8 summit will also meet world leaders, including Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and US President George W. Bush to discuss bilateral and international issues.
Hu, also general secretary of the ruling Communist Party of China, will attend the multilateral meeting of leaders of five developing countries – India, Brazil, China, Mexico and South Africa on June 8.
Chinese assistant Foreign Minister Cui Tiankai said Hu will enunciate China’s views and suggestions on climate change and other global issues during the outreach session of the G-8 summit. [Full Text]
