New Delhi, Jan 20: India outperformed China in emerging equity market which in turn outperformed that of developed equity market in 2007, according to a leading provider of financial market intelligence.
Standard and Poor’s global stock market review for 2007 said Indian stock market gave a return of 80.85 per cent to investors as against China’s 69.83 per cent.
Overall emerging markets rose 42 per cent in 2007 as against a gain of 9.4 per cent for the world’s developed markets. [Full Text]
