China Meets South Korea at World Table Tennis Championship Finals

China’s men’s table tennis team proved their dominance, beating Hong Kong to advance to the Sunday finals at the World Table Tennis Championship in Guangzhou. China will face South Korea, whose game was sharp enough to oust the Japanese in the semi-final matches. From Xinhua:

The star-studded Chinese men’s team foiled Chinese Hong Kong’s efforts to proceed forward after prevailing 3-0 at the world table tennis championships semifinals here on Saturday.

Defending champion China, deemed as the most powerful squad, hardly came across any block as it eased past all rivals in the week-long tournament.
