Namibia: Govt Supports China On Tibet

Africa’s Namibian government yesterday expressed solidarity with China and support for its “One China Policy” reported the Namibian.

In a short statement released late yesterday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the Namibian Government regarded Tibet as “an integral part of China and, therefore, condemns all secessionist activities and orchestrated acts of violence, which have been masterminded by the so-called Tibetan government in exile”.

“Namibia firmly supports China’s efforts towards the peaceful reunification and rejects any actions, which may compromise China’s national sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as threaten the peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait in particular.”
