President Bush discussed the conflict in Darfur, Sudan with his Chinese counterpart Hu Jintao during a telephone call, China’s Xinhua news agency said, citing the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
The two leaders also discussed Sino-U.S. relations in the conversation on Monday and “other issues of common concern,” the official agency said. The talks were a follow-up to their meeting in Hanoi at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum earlier this month. [Full text]
