USA Today reports that Sony will be launching the Playstation 2 video game console in China starting on December 20th. The Playstation 2 will retail for about 2000 yuan which is about $60 USD more than it sells for in America. Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony all sell their systems in Taiwan and Hong Kong but have shunned mainland China due to rampant software piracy.
