China is projected to be th second largest integrated circuit (IC) market in the world by 202, but the country wants to be a big producer of IC as well. Several domestic universities are already doing research in the area, and Beijing University just announced China’s first advanced CPU has been developed at the university’s Micro-processor Research and Development Center.
