China Tech News reports that Motorola and Samsung will be launching a combination phone that allows access on GSM networks and CDMA networks. China Unicom will be the first mobile phone provider with this new technology.
There seems to be fierce competition between CDMA and GSM in Shanghai and Shenzhen but word of mouth says that the GSM coverage is much better in China.
