Forbes: Wu Yi world’s second most powerful woman

Chinese Vice Premier Wu Yi (aka the “Iron Lady”) has been named the second most powerful woman in the world by Forbes magazine, following only Condaleezza Rice. The full report is here: “Proud, elegant, intelligent, Wu Yi impressed her party’s leaders when she deftly helped hammer out five trade agreements with Russia in 1999 and oversaw delicate negotiations for China’s accession to the World Trade Organization,” the report says.
