Private Chinese group sues trade ministry

From today’s Financial Times: “The suit by Aux Group, a large electrical goods producer, is based on recent legislation intended to loosen the grip of China’s bureaucrats over the economy.

If the lawsuit is successful, it would offer an important precedent for other companies straining under officials’ often arbitrary micro-management of Chinese industries. But the country’s judiciary appears unsure whether to hear the case.”
