CNNIC: Number Of Chinese Net Users Reaches 100M

From Pacific Epoch: “China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) announced on Friday that it will publish the 15th Internet Survey report next week, Sina reports. According to CNNIC’s estimate, the number of Chinese Internet users is above 100 million. CNNIC’s 14th Internet Survey said that by the end of June 2004, China had 87 million Internet users. In CNNIC’s last four reports, the number of Chinese Internet users increased by 8.5 million (first half of 2004), 11.5 million (second half of 2003), 8.9 million (first half of 2003) and 13.3 million (second half of 2002). CNNIC publishes two Internet survey reports each year in January and July.”
