Kim Coghill: No word on Tung resignation

From Reuters.co.uk:

Unpopular Hong Kong leader Tung Chee-hwa has met Chinese President Hu Jintao amid reports of his resignation which have sparked widespread fears that Beijing is meddling in the territory’s affairs.

Hu congratulated Tung for becoming a member of Beijing’s highest advisory body, a move that may foreshadow his departure as the territory’s chief executive, but made no mention of his reported resignation in front of journalists.
