Chinese people staged massive Anti-Japan demonstrations for the second consecutive day Sunday with more than 3,000 demonstrators surrounding a hotel that houses the Japanese Consulate General in the southern city of Guangzhou and about 10,000 staging a protest in Shenzhen, Japanese officials said.
Chanting anti-Japan slogans, such as those denouncing Tokyo’s bid to join the U.N. Security Council, citizens walked from a square in the center of Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong Province, to the hotel and surrounded it.
