China agrees to car parts talks – BBC

From BBC News (link)

China has agreed to requests by the US and Europe to hold talks over a trade dispute regarding tariffs on car parts.

The US and EU accuse China of imposing illegal tariffs to prevent foreign components being imported for use in Chinese car assembly plants.

Washington and Brussels recently complained to the World Trade Organization (WTO) over the issue. They say their car firms are forced to use Chinese parts at their factories in China. Beijing denies the charge.
