The EU, the United States and Canada will launch the first ever litigation against China at the World Trade Organization (WTO) by seeking on Friday to convene a panel to resolve an auto parts dispute.
The three, which have shown increasing signs of impatience with the China’s trade policies, took the rare step of joining forces in March to call on Beijing to talk about lowering barriers to China’s $19 billion auto parts market.But on Friday, the three capitals said the time for consultations had run out.
