China Central Bank Sees 2006 GDP Growth Over 10 Percent

China’s central bank said it expects the nation’s economic growth to exceed 10 pct this year with the consumer price index rising about 1.5 pct.

The People’s Bank of China made the forecasts in its third quarter monetary report published on its website.

‘The growth of the economy will be maintained at a stable and relatively fast pace,’ the central bank said.[Full Text]
