US search engine Google China has struck a deal with online community Tianya.com , its latest move in a localization push to catch rival Baidu.com .
The deal will see Tianya.com open two new services, Wenda and Laiba, developed by Google China. The two companies would not reveal financial details of the agreement yesterday. Wenda is a platform for Tianya.com users to exchange information in question-and-answer format. Laiba is a social networking community. [Full Text]
