China to Extend Major Financial Support to Nepal

From the Hindustan Times:

Chinese ambassador to Qiu Guohong recently announced an increase in financial support to , though the details are still unknown. The announcement precedes a visit to by Chinese Foreign Minister , who has not yet visited and will lead a 15-member delegation for a three-day trip. In September, the Chinese announced military support for Nepal. Additionally:

The Chinese government has already connected Nepal with its optical fibre network and has announced to extend its railway network from Lhasa to Kathmandu immediately.
