One person has been reported killed and several injured so far in a series of explosions that went off outside the Communist Party headquarters in Taiyuan, Shanxi, according to Xinhua. Few other details have been released. From the South China Morning Post:
The blasts occurred at around 7.40am on Wednesday, according to reports on Chinese social media. Seven explosions were heard, the Beijing Youth Daily said in a microblog post.
The explosions were triggered by small explosive devices, the Shanxi provincial government said on its website. One person has been wounded and two cars have been damaged, the site said citing Taiyuan police. [Source]
