Shannxi opens archives about Cultural Revolution – Xinhua

Shannxi Provincial Achives in northwest China opened secret files, including those about the 1966 to 1976 Cultural Revolution, for public reference Saturday.

The 58,497-volume files covers archives of 58 institutions, such as those of the provincial revolutionary commission on personnel matters and institutional setup during the 1966 to 1976 Cultural Revolution and till 1979…

Individuals are allowed to refer to these files with personal ID card at the Archives or log on to www.archives.cn to get relevant information.
