United States Congressional-Executive Commission on China – China Human Rights and Rule of Law Update

After the release of the US Congressional-Executive Commission on China Annual Report on October 11, 2005, the commission released an update November 1, 2005 (in pdf format). The updated report contains a position paper on the household registration system, as well as translations of the Regional Ethnic Autonomy Law, the court judgment in the Zhang Lin incitement of subversion trial, and the Ministry of Information Industry’s notice on cellular phone short messaging.
