  • That’s a very good report.

  • One thing that always appears in reports with Chinese people seeking justice though, is the total obliviousness to the fact that the central party is no different from the locals, they feed off each other, but the deal is, and their great feat, is to make the central party seem innocent, justice loving and totally separate from the local officials. The people keep hoping the central party will like listen to them or something, it’s so sad. They (the party) are just laughing at how well the propaganda has worked to this effect.

  • When will the Chinese people understand the petitioning system won’t address their grievances? It’s not just the local govts that are the problem or who violate the rights of citizens. The Central Govt right up to the top leadership, Hu Jintao, also are responsible for violating the rights of Chinese citizens. The Central CCP leadership is just as corrupt & tyrannical as the local govts. The system itself is the problem where all political power is in the hands of one party and where citizens can’t vote out govt leaders or have any influence on policy.

  • Don’t any of you remember Barbara Mitchel, the attorney general’s wife in the sixties, they did the exact same thing to her when she started supporting Watergate accusations. China it seems is lagging way behind.
