Guangming Daily — a government owned publication — claims that once citizens of China are better enabled to use their native language to access the Internet, small-to-medium sized businesses in that country will be able to reap the economic benefits of having a web presence. Additionally, this “sinicization” of the Internet will help the web to “enter ordinary people’s everyday lives.”
