UN Global Forum on Internet Governance

“More than 200 leaders from government, business and civil society attended the Global Forum on Internet Governance, held on 25 and 26 March 2004 and organized by the United Nations Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) Task Force” according to a report by CircleID. The entry is mostly large sections of direct quotation from participants in the forum. Click here to read it.

Declan McCullagh at CNET News.com wrote a rather cynical editorial on the same conference, which can be read here.
