This news from China Economic Net caught my attention through an email. It started with “all university and college professors and teachers in Guangdong Province will be required to sign agreements with their employers in the near future to become contractual staff members. ”
The email sender, a distinguished teaching professor of an American college asked “where is the socialism in these Chinese charcateristics?”
