Yahoo unveils Chinese search engine (UPI)

“Chinese Internet users got their second major search engine Monday with the launch of Yahoo’s Yisou service, which will compete with Google’s Baidu searcher.

Yahoo China, the Chinese unit of the U.S. internet portal, said the launch of Yisou, which means “No. 1 search” in English, is the latest move in its efforts to become the top player in China. ”
