Hong Kong health officials quit over SARS criticism

According to an AFP report, “Hong Kong hospital chief Leong Che-hung became the second high-profile health official to quit in 24 hours following a scathing report into last year’s outbreak. ”

Leong’s resignation comes a day after Hong Kong health minister Yeoh Eng-kiong quit after being criticized for the slow response to last year’s SARS crisis.
