China tests radar surveillance aircraft

From the Big News Network: “The Chinese military has said it developed a radar surveillance aircraft and has been testing the first models for deployment in the Taiwan Strait.

The Chinese airborne warning and control system, known as AWACS, uses advanced radar systems mounted on a Russian-made Il-76 transport aircraft, the Washington Post reported Saturday. ”
