From Big News Network (via: China National News) : “Japanese government officials Thursday confirmed a Chinese Navy submarine intrusively entered Japanese waters a day earlier.
The submarine was discovered early Wednesday off Taramajima Island, part of the Miyako Islands in Okinawa Prefecture, by Maritime Self-Defense Force P-3C patrol aircraft. The order to monitor the submarine came from Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi after receiving a call at 8 a.m. about the incident. ”
