The China question — which encompasses both the political and the economic interests of Europe — dominates the editorial pages of Germany’s papers on Tuesday. On balance, the analysis is that Germany is involved in a competition for Chinese favor, one that has as much to do with China’s huge markets as it does with the German bid for a permanent seat on the UN Security Council.
