China police harrass exile’s associates

From Reuters:

Chinese police have beaten and detained associates of exiled ethnic Uighur dissident Rebiya Kadeer, raided her business and tried to arrest one of her sons in an apparent reprisal campaign, a rights group said.

Kadeer, a Muslim, was one of China’s highest profile political prisoners until she was freed in March ahead of a visit by U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.
