Danielle M. George: Internet Viruses and Crime On A Rise In China

From allheadlinenews.com:

Roughly 20% of the world’s hijacked computers sending out spam are in China.

It is believed that the amount of spam, internet crime, and inappropriate material will continue to increase as the Chinese government continues to relax their control over the net. China already has the second biggest net-using population in the world, even though only 8% of its people go online.

Net use is growing fast and by 2007 the number of people using broadband in China should surpass those in the US.
