Beijing delegation officials seized the Republic of China flags carried by Taiwan’s teenage athletes at International Children’s Games, TVBS reports. Taiwanese medal winners draped the blue-sky-with-a-white-sun national flag around their shoulders and the act provoked the Beijing team.
“Do you have to use force?” asked Taipei delegation leader, deputy mayor Chin Fu-tsung.
