Hell in China usually refers to traveling by train during the Chinese New Year.This may be a shock to foreign visitors. However, there is truth in advertising as shown in this sign at a Dongguan long-distance bus depot. So maybe they meant to say “Ticketing Hall” but subconsciously they might recognize that “Ticketing Hell” is more suitable.
