Premier Wen Jiabao will outline a renewed focus on China’s countryside and set a cautious economic growth target of around 8 percent for 2006 in a national address Sunday, economists said.

As is customary, Wen will deliver a working report on the opening day of the annual session of the National People’s Congress during which he will outline the government’s latest strategies in balancing the nation’s red-hot economy.
