Some foreign enterprise in China refuse to establish trade union

“Some multinational corporations’ enterprises in China openly resist establishing trade unions, reports Legal Daily.

With deepening of reform, the non-public economy in China has undergone rapid development, which gives rise to number of employees in foreign-invested enterprises and private enterprises. By 2003, there are 734, 000 non-public enterprises in China with member of labor union of 24. 879 million. However, establishment of labor union encounters resistance in some enterprises. ”
