Guangdong is China’s richest province, and also one that attracts the most foreign direct investment. In order to compete internationally, a conference was held in Guangdong to discuss th future of the province. 21 business leaders attended the conference, and they suggested that Guangdong should “boost education in technology and the sciences, improve its infrastructure and go beyond mere manufacturing”
