Twelve miners were killed in a gas explosion and three others were reported missing at a coal mine in central China’s Henan Province on Friday, the official Xinhua news agency said on Saturday.
Rescue operations continued into Saturday, Xinhua said, citing sources at the Henan Provincial Coal Industry Bureau.
