Old scavenger with adopted orphans

From Nogo8.com, translated by CDT:

Zhao Jinghua, 79, has adopted 6 orphans over 30 years at Zhuangtou village of Xingping City, Shaanxi Province. Four kids were found when he was collecting garbage, and the other two were dropped at his door. Zhao goes out everyday for a living for the kids, 15 yuan (about $2) each day in average. “I can not be rest for even one day, otherwise we will have no food,” he says. Some of these kids are disabled. Meiying, 6, was abandoned like trash by her parents because she was born harelipped. She took an operation, with the help of some kind people. Asked why he adopted the kids, Zhao says “I didn’t think too much. They are lives and I try to save them. Everybody should have the heart.” The kids love their old “dad” very much, and some of them like to help him collect garbage. [Original Chinese text and more pictures]
