Internet Society of China Releases a Code of Conduct for Web Bloggers – Melissa Wang

The South China Morning Post reports that the semi-official Internet Society of China released on its website yesterday a draft voluntary code of conduct for public feedbacks. Under the code, bloggers must agree not to post messages containing unhealthy, illegal, pornographic, defamatory or false information that may infringe on others’ legal rights. In addition, responses to postings that are illegal or unhealthy must be deleted immediately. [Full Text]
