With full names missing, Hunan provincial family planning agency made public a list of cadres, officials and other celebrities who have broken the law of birt control and/or have kept mistresses, translated from Red Net:
Problem exposed, or learned at a Hunan family planning conference: a handful of law-breaking cadres remained unscathed while in power but were found guilty of keeping mistresses after getting involved in corruption cases. …
Also at the conference a list of law-breakers was made public, without giving full identities though (from 2000 tot 2005 1,968 cadres, 21 congress representatives, 24 CPPCC delegates, 112 entrepreneurs and 6 renowned intellectuals were found having too many children):
NPC representative Mr. Li, chairman of a group company at Qidong County (祁东县), lives with several women and has four children, so far unpunished at all;
Provincial congress representative Mr. He, principal of a school at Huarong County (华容) had his second child in 2000;
Changsha County congress representative Mr. Yan, chairman of a construction company, had his third child in 2002. He paid a 10,000-yuan fine;
A local congress representative Mr. Tang of Yuetang District of Xiangtan City (湘潭市岳塘区) had his third child in 2003, paid a partial fine and is not yet punalized either.
Three others were found keeping mistresses and having more than one child after corruption investigations: Vice Mayor Peng of Xiangxi Prefecture (湘西自治州), Vice Mayor Zhao of Loudi City (娄底市) and Vice Mayor Lei of Chenzhou City (郴州市). [Full Text in Chinese]
