Ministry Bans Organizing Teen Students to Fill Migrant Jobs – Xinhua

It’s been learned that some local vocational academies or elementary to middle-high schools have been organizing their students for migrant jobs, in the name of work-study or academic internships. The Ministry of Education recently passed down directives through its system to crack down on the phenomenon in a joint effort with local labor and industry/commerce agencies.

The Ministry also asked various schools to give some safety training to the adolescent students, advising them against taking job offers from out of town. [Full Text in Chinese]
