Photo Series: A Netizen’s Travel Notes of Mount Everest (Part 1)

Mount Everest is a place many Chinese dream of visiting. The mountain is especially popular amongst modern urbanites who are struggling with daily work and want to relax in a natural, holy place. Below is a group of photos of Mount Everest, taken by a netizen on Tianya.com who spent 30 days on and around the mountain:

On the way to the Xindu Bridge from Chengdu, I finally see the snow-capped mountain.

On the way to Litang, I see five cyclists from Nanyang city in Henan. This is a group of 55- to 68-year-olds. It took them twenty days to pedal from Nanyang to the Xindu Bridge, part of a 50-day trip to Lhasa.

The Xindu Bridge is considered a paradise for photographers.

Xindu Bridge is full of color and scenic beauty.

I arrived at Litang, said to be the second highest town above sea level.
